Each sculpture is formed in Oaxacan clay, a material naturally rich in organic inclusions that surface through the firing process. The surfaces are intentionally left unpolished, allowing imperfections, marks, and variations in tone to stay present as part of the work’s language. Each form holds these material interruptions as a record of earth, heat, and time.
